MORE INFO HERE
Hello to the over 3,250 subscribers to our RoadNews
Newsletter. This RoadNews is short with just a few new items and a
link to our latest video about our 6 week tour around the Australian state
of Tasmania.
First, I have added a new voicemail feature to our
"Contacting Us" options. With this free service you can leave voice
comments and questions via your computer and microphone. We download
these comments as mp3 audio files and listen to them as we ride or in our
tent at night.
Many subscribers will remember our long running Discussion
Board and Guestbook now called RoadTalk. Spam has always been a
constant battle. While we were in Asia I was able to keep up with
deleting spam as it appeared on the board. Now that we are in
Australia and riding and camping for long periods of time my internet (and
electricity) access is limited. The board has been rendered useless by
hundreds of automated spam posts. I am not sure what to do. I am
open to suggestions from this list. I am looking for someone to
moderate the discussion board and delete spam daily. Please write if
you are interested in becoming our discussion board moderator or have other
ideas!
Follow the directions below to
enter your email address into our database and receive the RoadNews
newsletter about every 6 weeks. Your email address will not be sold or
disclosed. Unsubscribe directions are
also below:
If you want to receive future
RoadNews Newsletters:
simply send an (empty) email message to
roadnews-subscribe@downtheroad.org . When email list program (ezmlm) receives your
blank email it will add your
address to the our subscriber database and send you a message to tell you
that you are a subscriber. If your mail program supports it, you may be able
to just click on the email address listed above.
If you DO NOT
want to receive future RoadNews Newsletters: send a
message to
roadnews-unsubscribe@downtheroad.org , then reply to the confirmation
request. ezmlm will send you a message to let you know that you are no
longer a subscriber. ezmlm will also let you know if the address was not in
the subscriber list. If so, you are probably subscribed under another
address. When this happens, construct an unsubscribe request that contains
your subscription address.
