On the road between Sheffield and Gowrie Park, Mount Rolland is in the
background.

Mural painted on a picnic shelter at Nelson Creek park and rodeo grounds in
Gowrie Park, Tasmania. We have retyped the caption from the painting
below:
An Historical Highlight was early
mountaineers and naturalist Gustav and Kate Weindorfer's 1906
honeymoon/botanical expedition on the slopes and summit of Mt. Roland. It
was on this occasion that Gustav (who was to become known as 'The Father of
Cradle Mountain National Park') first sighted Cradle Mtn. and was later to
conceive his grand vision of a "National Park for the people for all time."

A rainbow over Mount Roland.

The bridge over river from Lake Cethana.

Eating lunch on the side of the road near Moina.

This is true all over Australia, the critters come out at night.

The snow flakes begin, we call this a snow flurrie.

OK I am cold and the snow flakes are landing on the camera, soon after the
blizzard hit.

Tim, all bundled up for the snowy weather.

Cindie covered in snow and glad the sun came out.

Cindie riding up a steep hill with Cradle Mountain peaking out behind her.

I got up to 65 km/hour, I am sure Tim was faster (over 80 km/hour)on this steep
downhill decent, dangerous.

Mining works near Tullah.

Tim riding away from Tullah to our camp site.

Cindie cooking dinner by Lake Roseberry.

Tim working on the website by the lake.

Tim at camp, he is pumping the stove.

Cindie takes an early morning walk near the lake before the day starts.

The Gaiety Theater in Zeehan.

About 15 km from Strahan.
