Melbourne to Wilsons Promontory
National Park Australia
(Jan 14 - 20, 2007)

View of Squeaky beach, just over that ridge straight ahead is Tidal River.

Our free campsite near Tarwin Lower.

This bit of rainforest is on the Lilly Pilly Gully walk, love that name.

Rain forest on the Sealers Cove hike. |

Tim on the Lilly Pilly Gully track.

Up stream Tidal river gets wider, lots of frogs and the dreaded mozzie.

Some people said this spider was a Huntsman other said it isn't so if you know
the name of this spider let us know. This is Tim's shoe and he has a large
foot so this guy is huge, you should of heard the scream when I saw it.

Tidal River gentle enough for little kids to play in, what a beach too. |
Wilson's
Prom NP to Tarra Bulga National Park
(Jan 15 - 28, 2007)

The rain forest walk was awesome.

I am in heaven riding through the rain forest.

The sign at the beginning of the Tarra Valley, the road is wide enough for one
car. |

For years Tim put his finger out to catch a bird for me, finally after five
years one lands on his hand, the bird is a Crimson Rosella or Mountain Lorikeet.

Bairnsdale to Jindabyne, Victoria
Australia
(February 1 - 6, 2007)

We met Martin along the way.

Into the wilderness we go.

The mighty Snowy River. |

Tim at our campsite at Running Waters, we saw gliders here too. It was
a hot day but the evenings cooled off.

We made to the visitor center in Jindabyne, I was a bit tired from the ride
up. |

The Watkins lookout, you can see the road behind Tim's bike.

Australia's multi year drought has left mud cracks where lakes once were.
