On the way to Franz Joseph Glacier National Park, South Island, New Zealand

Franz Joseph Glacier has receded since I was here 14 years ago.
I sign in the park.
Looking up valley at the toe of Franz Joseph Glacier, notice the moraines (dirt
ground up on the sides and front of the glacier)
The tunnel at the base of the glacier, it is only a matter of time before this
collapses.
Like little ducklings in a row, the hikers return from their glacier hike.
The classic U shaped valley carved out by the glacier.
The rocks in the foreground have been carved out by the glacier, the rocks in
the background will form a moraine.
Waterfalls are plentiful around the glacier.
