Tim and Cindie at the beach, just south of Westport on the west coast of the South island.

Tim and Cindie on the road, so if you ever wonder why, think of this photo.

Cindie working on the computer, at the railroad station in Greymouth, yes they had wifi.

This is what happens to a tire when the brake pad rubs on the tire, I had to buy a new one in Greymouth.

A wet weka.

Tim and Cindie and their bikes, photo by Isidro.

Cindie shaking the morning dew off the tent fly.

Our first glimpse of Mount Cook.
The river had clear water.

This means the bridge has railroad tracks across it.
Our first snow capped mountains in the southern alps of new zealand.

On the way to Fox Glacier National Park, South Island, New Zealand

Cindie on the street in Franz Joseph, what a view.

Looking up valley at the toe of Franz Joseph Glacier, notice the moraines (dirt ground up on the sides and front of the glacier)

Cindie with her domestique, Tim

Two peas in a pod, Tim and Cindie.

The road north of Haast, we are in a rainforest and ever the culverts are lined with moss and the dead trees are lined with vegetation, Oh am I glad it is sunny.

The beach at Bruce Bay, a beauty.

Traffic is light and the scenery beautiful.
Haast River looking back toward Pleasant Flat, the canyon begins to narrow here.

This little bird came to visit our campsite.
View of Lake Hawea from ‘The Neck”.
