Stealth/free camping in beautiful Arizona

After rushing home from India to be with my family when my mother unexpectedly passed away I am now back on the road.  I am riding solo from Phoenix, Arizona to Portland, Oregon and meeting my 17 year old nephew Jake in mid June.  Jake is graduating from high school a year early so his parents, my sister Terri and husband Jerry, decided he could benefit from a bike trip with his crazy traveling uncle before going to Indiana University in the fall of 2014.  We have almost a whole year so I am thinking about taking the Adventure Cycling Trans America bike trail as far as Colorado then heading south through Mexico and on to Central America.  Jake studied Spanish in school so a tour where he can practice seems fitting.

I have not seen as much of America as I should have by now so, most of my route in the USA consist of places I have never been.   I have cycled in Mexico several times and Central America before but not in over 10 years and it is a culture I really enjoy.

After Jake goes back to Indiana to start school I am not sure what my plan is.  I still have a few places I have not visited like Europe, The Middle East, and Africa.  I pay off my house in Prescott, Arizona in 7 more years and may retire then but at this point I still have "No Plans To Stop"
